Where is the studio located?
324 North Main Street, on the corner of 4^th and Main in downtown Maryville, MO. Parents and students enter the studio on 4^th Street at the red door.

How often do classes meet?
Once a week for between the months of September and the middle of May.

What ages do you offer classes to?
From 3 to adult

What style of classes do you offer?
Tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, pom pom, clogging, and tumbling/acro

What are the fees?
Regular group dance class is $25/month per student.
Duos/Trios are $40 /month per student.
Acro/Tumbling class is $30/month per student.

Fees are due the first week of each month. There is a mail box for class fees at the studio in the waiting room. If paying with cash please place fee in an envelope with your child’s name on it. 

What does my child wear to class?
Form fitting dancewear, leotards, and/or gym shorts & a t-shirt.  No baggy pants or jeans please.

What shoes will my child need?
Ballet class-ballet shoes
Jazz class-jazz shoes
Tap class-tap shoes

*beginners in combo classes will need a combination of shoes

What is a combo class?
A combination (or combo) class is a beginner class for younger students that will introduce them to tap, jazz, and ballet styles of dance.

Can I observe my child during practice?
The instructor will try to allow 5 minutes at the end of class approximately twice a month to allow parents to see progress.

How are students placed?
The studio reserves the right to adjust class sizes and/or suggest movement of students.  The goal is to group students by skill level first and NOT necessarily by age or years of experience.  Advanced skill students should not be limited by being grouped with like age students who currently at a lower level.  Most class changes will be made by October 1^st each year.

Is the parent required to stay at the studio during practice time?
No, but if dropping your child off for class please be sure that he/she gets in and out of the dance studio safely.  All students are to always wait INSIDE the studio after class for the parent to come in to get them.  Also, please ask your child to place their coats and/or dance bags on the shelves when they come to class.

Do you offer private instruction?
This is available on a limited basis.  Currently we have a waiting list, but see Dana or Dave if you have an interest.
